Hi, I’m Emma! With a background in elementary education, raising and nurturing little ones has always been close to my heart. I’m blessed to spend my days at home with our four children—Luke, Bridger, Sadie, and Barrett—while pursuing my passion for raising exceptional Australian Labradoodles. My husband, Broderick, helps run our family’s building-materials business and is proud to be the third generation to do so.

Our breeding program is truly a family endeavor. Because our puppies are raised in our home and alongside our children, they receive the individual attention, nurturing, and everyday socialization we believe are so important. We’re passionate about not only raising beautiful, healthy puppies, but about thoughtfully matching each one with a family where they can be deeply loved and cherished for a lifetime.

Our Program 

Limited Litters

Why We Keep Our Program Small

We produce a limited number of litters each year so that we can be involved in every puppy’s journey. From the moment they are born, we nurture, socialize, and stimulate each puppy as they grow and develop.

Because we keep our program intentionally small, we are able to dedicate the time and attention each puppy deserves—from birth, through their individual development and temperament assessment, to thoughtfully matching them with the family that is the best fit for their unique personality.

Our commitment continues all the way through Puppy Placement Day, when each puppy leaves our care and begins their next chapter with their forever family.

Desensitization 

Potty Training 

We begin introducing potty training at 4 weeks of age, helping our puppies develop good habits from an early age. At this stage, puppies learn to use a designated potty tray, giving them their first understanding that there is a specific place for eliminating.

At approximately 6 weeks of age, we begin transitioning the puppies from the potty tray to outdoor potty training. From 6–8 weeks, our puppies are taken outside regularly throughout the day for frequent potty breaks, helping them learn to associate going potty with being outdoors.

This early, consistent routine gives our puppies a strong foundation and helps make the transition to potty training in their new homes much smoother.

Clear Genetics 

Extensive Health Testing 

The health and well-being of our puppies begins with carefully selecting and thoroughly health-testing every potential breeding dog. Our testing includes:

  • OFA Elbows — 
    We evaluate elbow health through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA).

  • PennHIP
    This test provides a measurable evaluation of hip joint laxity.

  • Orivet ALD Genetic Panel
    Our dogs are screened through a breed-specific genetic panel to identify inherited conditions and help us make informed pairing decisions.

  • DNA Profile
    Each breeding dog has an individual DNA profile for identification and parentage verification.

The Key to Success 

Crate Training

We introduce our puppies to crate training at 4 weeks of age, allowing them to freely explore their crates and learn that they are a safe, comfortable place to rest.

As they grow, puppies gradually begin sleeping overnight in their crates with their puppy buddies and taking designated daytime naps in their crates.

By 8 weeks, our puppies are sleeping through the night and learning to hold their potty until morning. This gives each puppy a positive foundation for continued crate training in their new home.

Desensitization 

ENS 

We incorporate Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) into our puppy program during the first few days of life, beginning around day 3 and continuing through day 16. These gentle, age-appropriate exercises are designed to provide early neurological stimulation and help puppies develop greater resilience, confidence, and adaptability as they grow. Our goal is to give each puppy the strongest possible foundation for becoming a healthy, well-rounded adult dog.

About the Breed 

  • The Australian Labradoodle is arguably the original Doodle, bred with great intention and research specifically to gain a breed with hypoallergenic and therapy temperament qualities. Beginning in the 1980's, the Australian Labradoodle lines were built with an English Cocker Spaniel, Labrador, and Standard Poodle. These direct lines are what have built the wonderful breed today.
